Probes into the causes of the smoke control zoning can not prevent smoke effectively, and gives the solution based on FDS simulation results, which divides the platform into two smoke control zones by using longitudinal girdles adding plates with height of 0.5~0.6 meters and plates near track area ceiling as hanging walls. Inside each of the zones, exhaust smoke rate not less than 1 m3 per square meter per minute can effectively prevent unexpected smoke motion under the condition of common baggage fire.
